Morning Notes
US Futures are tracking slightly higher this morning while European stocks trade in positive territory after political fears were eased as French Presidential candidate Macron is looking like the likely winner of the race after a debate last night. The price of crude is trading back higher by + 0.8%, boosting energy producing stocks. Asian stocks closed mostly mixed.
Technicals
The SPY tested its 20 day EMA throughout yesterday’s session and closed back above in uninspired trade. Near term support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $236.32, followed by $236.19, $235.74, $235.41, and $235.09. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $237.36 followed by $237.97, $238.10, $239.44, $239.57 and record highs at $240.32.
