Morning Notes
US Futures and European stocks are flat this morning ahead of earnings results from some of the big banks. Asian stocks closed mixed on the day after opening higher continuing the strong week.
Technicals
The SPY continued to edge higher throughout yesterday’s session and is approaching recent all time highs. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $243.76, followed by the low of yesterday’s range at $243.30, the 20 EMA at $242.63, then gap fill at $242.55, continued with the 50 SMA at $241.70, then $240.85, and the near term support pivot at $240.65. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $244.55, followed by $244.73, $244.87, and the record highs at $245.01.
