Morning Notes
US Futures are lower this morning along with European stocks ahead of the meeting between world central bank leaders this week. The US and South Korea are expected to start a joint military exercise which may escalate tensions between North Korea and the US. Asian stocks settled mixed to start the week.
Technicals
The SPY filled the gap of $242.55 during Friday’s session finding support and consolidating just above the 100SMA. Support will lie at the low of Friday’s range at $242.20, followed by the 100SMA at $241.51, then $240.85, and the recent support pivot at $240.65. Resistance will lie at the high of Friday’s range at $244.19, followed by the the 50SMA at $244.72, the 20EMA at $245.58, then $246.60, the ascending resistance at $248 and record highs at $248.91.
