Morning Notes
US Futures and European stocks are higher this morning in early trading. US Futures are up with optimism that tax reform will take place and European shares are up with speculation that the ECB will keep policies in place longer than originally expected. Asian stocks settled the day mostly mixed.
Technicals
The SPY traded in a constricted range on lower than average volume during yesterday’s session, finding resistance at Monday’s record highs. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $254.98, followed by $254.82, then $254.64, $254.37, $253.98, $253.65, $253.20, the 20EMA at $252.75, then $252.56, $252.23, $251.30, the former ascending resistance at $251.29, and the recent pivot at $250.15. Resistance will lie at the record highs of $255.52.
