Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are higher in early trading. Markets are receiving a boost on strong manufacturing output data coming from China. Investors are still watching for data to come from negotiations between the US and China on trade as Pres. Trump says he will not accept anything less than a “great deal”. Asian markets settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY continued to consolidate at the 281.2 pivot in Friday’s session and is looking to open higher this morning. Support will first found at the $281.2 pivot, followed by the 20EMA at $279.89, the $275.5 pivot and the 200SMA at $275.33, then pivot low of $272.42, $270, and the 100SMA at $268.93. Resistance first lies at the swing high pivot of $285.18, then $286.6 and $288.8
