Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are slightly lower in early trading. Markets remain volatile as tensions rise between the US and China. Investors will be watching for numbers from Retail Sales and Consumer Confidence later this morning. Asian stocks settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY was weak to start yesterday’s session but rallied through the session testing and closing above the 20EMA. Support will first be found at $281.5, $279.13, $275.52, $271.3. Resistance will be found at the 20EMA at $283.63 $289.20, then ascending resistance at $296, the 100SMA at $298.10, and the 200SMA at $299.48.
