US futures are lower this morning by -0.8% and European markets are trading lower by over -0.5% on concerns that China’s attempt to stabilize its equity markets will fail and was reflected in the sharp drop in Chinese stocks overnight.
Technicals
The SPY traded slightly higher on Friday closing at $199.28. New upper range support has been established at $197.92, followed by $195.21. Overhead resistance lies at the high of Friday’s range at $199.84.
