Morning Notes
US futures are slightly higher this morning and European markets are also trading higher by over +1%. Thin markets during holiday trading are aiding in the slow drift higher. Commodity prices, including crude, recovered recent losses. Asian stocks closed mostly higher.
Technicals
The SPY closed out yesterday’s sessions near the highs coming off the Christmas holiday. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $203.94, followed by $203.85, and $201.55. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $205.26, followed by $205.42, and the 200 day moving average at $206.25 which also closely coincides with more resistance at $206.33.
