Morning Notes
US futures are slightly lower this morning and European stocks are also trading lower after a slide in Crude by nearly -3% overnight spurred by the API data which showed an increase in inventory. Asian stocks closed mostly mixed.
Technicals
The SPY gapped higher and held its gains throughout yesterday’s session of thin markets during holiday trading. support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $206.47, followed by the 200 day moving average at $206.25, the beginning of the gap at $205.26, and finally $203.94. Resistance will lie first at the 50 day moving average at $206.82, followed by the high of yesterday’s range at $207.79, and then $208.48.
