Morning Notes

US Futures are slightly higher this morning and European stocks are also trading higher boosted by the rally in China overnight after the chinese government took measures to spark economic confidence. Energy producers are moving higher as well after the price of crude climbed back over $40, a 3 month high. Asian stocks closed higher.

 

Technicals

The SPY continued its move higher in yesterday’s session closing higher in the last 11 of 13 trading days.  Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $202.77, followed by the 200 day SMA at $201.94, and then $201.55. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $205.23, followed by $205.89 and $207.21
