Morning Notes
US futures are slightly lower along with European stocks after China reported their GDP which displayed the slowest economic growth since the financial crisis in 2009. Crude oil is also trading lower by nearly -2% driving energy producers lower.
Technicals
The SPY trade flat in yesterday’s session on light relative volume as the markets awaited China’s GDP data. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $207.60, followed by $206.84, $206.49, $206.25, and the most recent critical support pivot at $205.25. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $208.60, followed closely by $208.68, and then $209.73.
