Morning Notes
US Futures are sharply lower this morning after the 2016 presidential election came to a close as Donald Trump wins. E mini markets sold off over 5% in early morning trading on the news but have since recovered from the worst levels. Asian stocks closed predominantly lower.
Technicals
The SPY sold off sharply over night but is well off the lows this morning. Support will lie at $211.30, $210.24, $209.89, and the 200 day moving average at $208.53. Resistance will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $212.38, followed closely by the former support pivot at $212.50, then the 100 and 50 day moving average which both lie at $214.52.
