Morning Notes
US Futures are tracking slightly higher while European stocks trade lower led by weakness in the banking sector as markets move into the last trading day of 2016. Asian stocks closed mostly mixed.
Technicals
The SPY continued lower throughout yesterday’s session closing back below a short term pivot zone at $224.89. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $223.48, followed by $221.38. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $224.89 which also coincides with the short term pivot at the same level. After the pivot resistance lies at $226.59, $226.73, $227.81, and record highs at $228.34.
