Morning Notes
US Futures are tracking modestly lower this morning while European stocks also trade lower by over -1% on carryover from yesterday’s FOMC announcement which sparked a slip in US markets as well as crude oil. Asian stocks closed mostly lower.
Technicals
The SPY tested record highs early in yesterday’s session then slipped lower into the late afternoon. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $243.29, followed by $242.38, the 20 EMA at $242.16, then $241.95, $241.64, the near term support pivot at $240.65, $239.93, $239.51, $238.82, and the 50 SMA at $238.96. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $244.87, followed by the record highs at $245.01.
