Morning Notes
US Futures and European stocks are slightly lower in early trading. European shares are lower with no resolution in the Italian budget problems. Brexit is in the headlines as more push back is being felt by UK PM May from those in Parliament. Asian markets settled the session mostly higher to start the week.
Technicals
The SPY drifted in Friday’s session, testing and holding the 200SMA area. Support is first found at the 200SMA of $275.95, followed by the 20EMA and $275.5 pivot, then the important $270 pivot, followed by $265, $261.20, then $259.00 and $254.67. Resistance first lies at the $281 pivot area, then the 100SMA at $281.69, $286.7, $293.22, then all time highs of $293.94.
