Morning Notes
US Futures and European stocks are higher in early trading. European stocks are higher with political risks in Italy continuing to subside. British PM May received the EU approval on her Brexit deal, but still needs to pass the UK parliament. A bounce in the energy sector is also helping market gains. Asian markets started the week mixed.
Technicals
The SPY closed flat on the short session on Friday ending the day near the $263 pivot and is looking to gap higher on the open near the $265 pivot. Support is first found at $263.16, followed by $261.20, then $259.00 and $254.67. Resistance first lies at $265, then the $270 pivot, followed by the 20EMA of $271.39, then the $275.5 pivot, then the 200SMA at $275.81, the $281 pivot area, then the 100SMA at $281.47, $286.7, $293.22, then all time highs of $293.94.
