Morning Notes
US Futures and European stocks are slightly lower in early trading. Pres. Trump announced last night that his plan for additional tariffs on China is still likely. With those comments we are seeing weakness in the tech sector, being lead by AAPL after Pres. Trump suggested that he may impose another round of tariffs on tech goods.Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY gapped higher to start yesterday’s session and remained above the $265 pivot area through the day. Support is first found at $265, followed by $263.16, $261.20, then $259.00 and $254.67. Resistance first lies at $268, then the $270 pivot, followed by the 20EMA of $271.02, then the $275.5 pivot, then the 200SMA at $275.84, the $281 pivot area, then the 100SMA at $281.41, $286.7, $293.22, then all time highs of $293.94.
