Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are flat in early trading. Markets are taking a pause following Friday’s run on a strong Jobs report. The US and China are starting their 2 day trade talk in China today. Investors will be watching the tech sector with CES starting. Asian markets settled the session mostly higher.
Technicals
The SPY had a strong rally to end the week on Friday closing just below the 20EMA. Support is first found at $250, $248, $242, $240, followed by $235, $231.95, $228.56 pivot and ascending support at $219.5. Resistance first lies at $253 and the 20EMA, $254.50 and $260. It continues with $263, $265, $268, $270, and the 200SMA at $273.99.
