Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are lower in early trading. Investors are still concerned with the global economic slowdown as China released data showing prices rising much less than anticipated. Yesterday the Fed announced some dovish signals regarding rate hikes for 2019 in their meeting minute release. Asian markets settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY continued to exhibit strength in yesterday’s session, but started to show some signs of a slightly overbought condition. Support is first found at the $254.67, followed by the 20EMA at 254.19, then $253, $250, $248, $242, $240, followed by $235, $231.95, and $228.56. Resistance first lies at $260, $263, $265, $268, $270, and the 200SMA at $273.88.
