Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are lower in early trading. Weak export data from China is fueling this push lower in the markets. Exports from China hit the lowest level in two years. Investors will be keeping their eyes on this earnings season which is kicking off this week with banks beginning to report. Asian markets settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY continued the rally from the recent lows and consolidated just below the $260 resistance level. Support is first found at the 20EMA at 255.05, followed by $254.67, then $253, $250, $248, $242, $240, followed by $235, $231.95, and $228.56. Resistance first lies at $260, $263, $265, $268, $270, and the 200SMA at $273.84.
