Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are higher in early trading. Investors continue to remain concerned over the global economic position even while the market moves higher. Earnings season remains in full swing and investors will be watching for guidance changes going into 2019. Asian markets settled the session mostly higher.
Technicals
The SPY continued its consolidation through yesterday’s session around the $263 pivot. Support is first found at $263 and the $260 pivot, followed by the 20EMA at $259.23, then $254.67, $253, $250, $248, $242, and $240. Resistance first lies at $265, $268, $270, then the 100SMA at $272.13 and the 200SMA at $273.87.
