Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are both slightly higher in early trading. Tech is in focus for earnings this week as many of the giants report including AAPL after the bell. The US and China are slated to meet in the next few days for trade negotiations ahead of the March 1 deadline. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY opened below the $265 pivot in yesterday’s session and traded around the $263 pivot. Support is first found at $263 and the $260 pivot/ 20EMA, followed by $254.67, $253, $250, $248, $242 and $240. Resistance first lies at $265, $268, $270, then the 100SMA at $271.62 and the 200SMA at $273.87.
