Morning Notes
US Futures are flat and European shares are mixed in early trading. Markets pushed higher early on Friday following a unexpectedly strong Jobs report. Investors have also been reacting positively to Pres. Trumps comments that there is a good chance the US and China will make a trade deal. Many Asian markets are closed for holiday with the remaining settling the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY continued to consolidate around the $270 pivot. Support is first found at $268, $265, $263 and the 20EMA at $262.80, followed by $260, $254.67, $253, $250, $248, $242 and $240. Resistance first lies at $270, then the 100SMA at $270.78 and the 200SMA at $273.89.
