Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are lower in early trading. Markets are lower following news that Pres. Trump is not going to meet with Chinese Pres. Xi before the March deadline. Also weighing on markets is the slashing of GDP forecasts by the European Commission and the BOE. Asian markets settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY fell below the critical $270 pivot and 100SMA confluence in yesterdays session. Support is first found at $268, followed by the 20EMA at $265.80, and $265. It continues at $263, $260, $254.67, $253, $250, $248, $242 and $240. Resistance first lies at the 100SMA and $270 confluence, then the 200SMA at $273.92, followed by $275.5 and $281.
