Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are higher in early trading. Markets are up to start the new week as the US sent representatives to China for more trade negotiation talks ahead of the March 2 deadline. Investors still remain cautious as another potential partial Govt. shutdown could occur in the US Friday if an agreement is not reached. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY was trading under the $270 and 100SMA confluence in Friday’s session and closed at the level. Support is first found at $268, followed by the 20EMA at $266.25, and $265. It continues at $263, $260, $254.67, $253, $250, $248, $242 and $240. Resistance first lies at the 100SMA and $270 confluence, then the 200SMA at $274, followed by $275.5 and $281.
