Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are slightly lower in early trading. US markets had a holiday Monday and are looking slightly lower to open as another round of trade talks between China and the US are scheduled to begin Thursday. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY continued to trade above the 200SMA and the $275.5 pivot in Friday’s sesison. Support is first found at the $275.5 pivot, then the 200SMA at $274.23, followed by $270, the 20EMA at $269.53, then the 100SMA at $269.03, 268, and $265. It continues at $263, $260, $254.67, $253, $250, $248, $242 and $240. Resistance first lies at $281 and $286.6.
