Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are higher in early trading. BA continues to be in the headlines with more countries grounding their fleets of 737 MAX 8 aircraft following the crash over the weekend and questions over safety. UK lawmakers will be voting today on another Brexit proposal following the failed vote and ahead of the exit deadline of March 29. Asian markets settled the session mostly higher.
Technicals
The SPY exhibited strength in yesterday’s session opening above the 200SMA and continuing higher though the session. Support will first found at the 20EMA of $276.05 followed by the $275.5 pivot and the 200SMA at $274.87, then gap entry at $272.34, $270, the 100SMA at $267.67. Resistance first lies at 281.2 and $286.6.
