Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are higher in early trading. Markets are up ahead of the release from the FOMC with investors keeping a close eye for any changes with rates. TSLA and Elon Musk are again in headlines after the SEC is asking a federal judge to hold him in contempt after his recent tweets as a direct violation of the settlement deal they reached. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY opened and remained above that important $281.2 pivot area in yesterday’s session. Support will first found at the $281.2 pivot, followed by the 20EMA at $278.09, the $275.5 pivot and the 200SMA at $275.10, then pivot low of $272.42, $270, and the 100SMA at $267.88. Resistance first lies at $286.6 and $288.8
