Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are higher in early trading. Markets are higher on renewed optimism regarding US/China trade as Treasury Secretary Mnuchin stated talks in Beijing were “constructive” and that discussions would continue in Washington next week. Investors will be watching the LYFT IPO that debuts today. Asian markets settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY continued to consolidate around the 20EMA support and 281.2 pivot in yesterday’s session. Support will first found at the 20EMA at $279.62, the $275.5 pivot and the 200SMA at $275.31, then pivot low of $272.42, $270, and the 100SMA at $268.84. Resistance first lies at $281.2, followed by swing high pivot of $285.18, then $286.6 and $288.8
