US Futures and European shares are flat in early trading. Yesterday the FOMC released its March meeting minutes and left the door open for rate hikes, or declines, as was expected. Investors are awaiting the 1st quarter earnings season of 2019 that kicks off on Friday. In European news, the EU has granted a 6 month extension to the Brexit deal with the UK. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
The SPY traded in a constricted range in yesterday’s session testing and remaining below the recent ascending resistance line. Support will first found at $287, followed by the $286.6 pivot, the 20EMA at $284.08, $281.2, the pivot and 200SMA at $275.70, $275.50, $272.42, $270, and the 100SMA at $269.87. Resistance first lies at $288.8, $289.45 and $293
