US Futures and European shares are flat in early trading. Earnings are starting to roll in with more banks reporting to start the week. Investors continue to watch for developments with the US/China trade negotiations. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY exhibited strength in Friday’s session gapping higher and holding the levels into the close. Support will first be found at $289.4, then $288.8, $287, followed by the $286.6 pivot, the 20EMA at $285.01, $281.2, the pivot and 200SMA at $275.94, $275.50, $272.42, then the pivot and 100SMA at $270. Resistance first lies at $293.2 and $294
