Economic Calendar & Watch List
US Futures and European shares are slightly lower in early trading. Markets are uneasy as the US announced it would impose sanctions on any country that continues to import Iranian oil. This sent crude prices higher following the extended holiday weekend. Asian markets settled the session mostly higher.
The SPY broke below the $289.4 pivot in Thursday’s session, then rallied into the afternoon closing and continuing to consolidate at recent highs. Support will first be found at $289.4, then $288.8, $287, followed by the $286.6 pivot and 20EMA, $281.2, the pivot and 200SMA at $276.32, $275.50, $272.42, then the 100SMA at $271.10.
