Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Trade tensions remain high between the US/China and US/Mexico, yet markets continue their move higher. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY continued it’s move higher in yesterday’s session moving through and closing above the 20EMA and is looking to open above that level this morning. Support will first be found at the 20EMA at 282.55, $281.20 pivot, the 100SMA at $279.97, followed by the 200SMA at $277.22, $275.50, $272.50, $270, $268. Resistance first lies at the pivot and gap entry of $284.20 and gap fill at $285.10 and the 50SMA at $286.47.
