Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Markets were higher yesterday following US/Mexico trade news in the afternoon with VP Pence describing the meetings to be moving in the right direction. Investors are awaiting the Jobs report that is due out this morning for more insight into the strength of the economy. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY tested it’s 20EMA and continued higher in yesterday’s session. Support will first be found at the 20EMA at 282.76, $281.20 pivot, the 100SMA at $280.23, followed by the 200SMA at $277.20, $275.50, $272.50, $270, $268. Resistance first lies at the 50SMA at $286.55 followed by $289.50.
