Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Global markets are getting a boost after President Trump announced a suspension of tariffs on Mexico, but did warn they could be reinstated if cooperation falls short. Investors are still waiting for the G20 summit where Pres. Trump and Chinese Pres. Xi are set to discuss trade. Asian markets settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY exhibited strength in Friday’s session pushing through the 50SMA and closing just below the $289.4 pivot. Support will first be found with the 50SMA at $286.71, followed by the 20EMA at 283.23, $281.20 pivot, the 100SMA at $280.53, followed by the 200SMA at $277.21. Resistance first lies at $289.50 and all time highs at $294.95
