Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Global markets are higher again after indications that Beijing is ramping its stimulus efforts in China. Yesterday, Pres. Trump stated that he would raise tariffs on China if Pres. Xi did not attend the G20 summit. Asian markets settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY exhibited strength to start yesterday’s session then reversing to close the day below the $289.4 pivot. Support will first be found with the 50SMA at $286.87, followed by the 20EMA at 283.77, $281.20 pivot, the 100SMA at $280.82, followed by the 200SMA at $277.23. Resistance first lies at $289.50 and all time highs at $294.95
