Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Global markets surge higher following the trade truce that was reached by the US and China over the weekend. Oil is also rallying with news that Russia and Saudi Arabia have reportedly agreed to extend production cuts for another 6 to 9 months ahead of the OPEC meeting that kicks off today. Asian markets settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY edged higher in Friday’s session remaining above the former descending resistance line. Support will first be found at the 20EMA at 289.85, the 100SMA at $284.36, $281.20 pivot, and the 200SMA at $277.41. Resistance will be time highs at $296.31
