Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are slightly lower in early trading. New tariff threat in Europe is dampening renewed optimism in global markets as the US threatened to impose tariffs on 89 additional products. OPEC agreed to a 9 month extension of oil production cuts. Asian markets settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY gapped to new highs in yesterday’s session then retested and held the previous all-time high level in the afternoon. Support will first be found at $294.45, then the 20EMA at 290.40, the 100SMA at $284.59, $281.20 pivot, and the 200SMA at $277.45. Resistance will be time highs at $296.92
