Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are lower in early trading. Investors continue to remain cautious following the strong Jobs report and ahead of Fed Powell speaking this week. Markets were pricing in a rate decrease and now the future is uncertain. Asian markets settled the session mostly lower.
Technicals
The SPY continued to consolidate near all time highs in yesterday’s session on lighter than average volume. Support will first be found with gap entry at $294.33, followed by gap fill at $293.55, then the 20EMA at 292.79, the 100SMA at $285.64, $281.20 pivot, and the 200SMA at $277.59. Resistance will be time highs at $298.82
