Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Marets are higher this morning following reports of a potential budget deal that has been reached to increase the US debt limit. The UK is preparing to announce a new PM today which leaves uncertainty as a Brexit plan is continuing to be developed. Asian markets settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY continued to consolidate above the 20EMA in yesterday’s session. Support will first be found at the 20EMA at 296.52, followed by gap entry at $294.33, then gap fill at $293.55, the 100SMA at $287.75, $281.20 pivot, and the 200SMA at $277.96. Resistance will be found at $299.6 and $301.13
