Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Investors are optimistic about US/China trade talks as negotiations are slated to resume on Oct. 10 in Washington. However, political risks with impeachment proceedings starting with Pres. Trump continues to overshadow markets. Asian stocks settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY failed to hold the 20EMA early in yesterday’s session and then ended the day consolidating around that level. Support will first be found at the 20EMA of $297.21, followed by 296.80, $294.30, the 100SMA at $292.05, $288.44, then ascending support of $287.75. Resistance will be found at ascending resistance at $302.20, $302.63 and ascending resistance of $305.40
