Morning Notes
US Futures are flat and European markets are slightly lower in early trading. Commerce giant AMZN reported a drop in profits for the first time since 2017 citing one day shipping and other growth costs. US/China trade continues to weigh on investor confidence as the dispute lingers. Asian stocks settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY continued its consolidation around the $300 pivot area in yesterdays session. Support will first be found at the gap entry and 20EMA at $297, $296.97, the 100SMA of $294.53, then gap fill at $294.21, $293.85, the 200SMA at $287.13. Resistance will be found at $300.90 and $302.63.
