Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are higher in early trading. Trade optimism is higher this morning following statements from China that they pledge to make major changes to how intellectual property rights are protected, a key sticking point in the trade negotiations. Asian stocks settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY continued its run of consolidation by testing and holding above the ascending support line in Friday’s session. Support will first be found at ascending support of $310.50, followed by 309.06, the 20EMA at $307.86, $302.20s, $298.50 and the 100SMA at $298.02. Resistance will be found at all-time highs of $312.69.
