Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are slightly higher in early trading. Investors will be keeping an eye on the Jobs report that is to be released this morning for some insight into the strength of the economy. Continued signs of a global economic slowdown are appearing with Germany’s unexpected drop in industrial production this month. Asian stocks settled the session mixed.
Technicals
The SPY tested and held above the 20EMA in yesterday’s session. Support will first be found with the 20EMA at $310.40, followed by $309.06, ascending support $307.60s, $302.20s and the 100SMA at $299.12. Resistance will be found at ascending resistance of $313.5 and all-time highs of $315.48.
