Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are slightly higher in early trading. Investors remain concerned over the global spread of the Coronavirus and the potential economic fallout from that. Q4 earnings continue to come in and eyes will be on tech giant AAPL as they report after the bell. Asian stocks settled the session lower.
Technicals
The SPY gapped below the 20EMA in yesterday’s session and consolidated below the 20EMA around the $324 area. Support will first be found at yesterday’s lows of $322.66, followed by $315.48, then gap fill at $312.5, $309.06, 100SMA at $308.73. Resistance will be found first at gap entry of $325.12, followed by the 20EMA at $326.35, then gap fill at $327.36, and all-time highs of $332.95.
