Morning Notes
US Futures and European markets are lower in early trading. Markets are taking a pause this morning following a 3-day rally from the recent lows. The US now leads the world in COVID-19 cases and the House is set to pass a $2 trillion stimulus package in response. Asian stocks settled the session higher.
Technicals
The SPY continued to move higher off the recent bottom in yesterday’s session. Support will first be found $247.68, followed by $242.21, $233.76, $228.02, and $218.26. Resistance will be found with ascending resistance at $256.40, the 20EMA at $264.89, $273.09, $281.5, gap fill at $290.23, and the 200SMA at $302.74.
