Morning Notes

US futures are lower this morning as European stocks trade lower by over -1.5% again led by automakers after BMW made headlines on excessive diesel emissions from the X3 model that were over 11 times the European limits. Asian stocks closed predominantly mixed across the board.

 

Technicals

The SPY traded lower again in  yesterday’s session but price action still remained lethargic and choppy. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $192.91, followed by $192.56, $190.61, and $190.73. Resistance will lie at $194.67, followed by $194.96, and $195.21.

ARWR: Arrowhead Research – The company announced that peak reduction in HBsAg of up to 99% after a single dose with Hepatitis B candidate ARC-520 in treatment nave cohort of Phase 2a study; single-dose reductions in HBeAg of up to 98% also achieved. Gapping up 37% with a 58.9M share float.

CNAT: Conatus – The company announced results from studies that their drug helps Severe Portal Hypertension patients. Gapping up 25% with a 14.5M share float.

CAPN: Capnia – The company announced that its study, which Demonstrates Superiority of CoSense in Detecting Hemolysis and Reducing Jaundice-Related Readmissions, was published in the Journal Neonatology. Gapping up 18%.
