Morning Notes
US Futures are slightly higher this morning on carryover from yesterday’s sharp move higher. European stocks are also trading higher again as uncertainty has waned as Presidential candidate Macron maintains a substantial lead in the polls. Asian stocks closed mostly higher.
Technicals
The SPY held the sharp gap higher throughout yesterday’s session and closed out just off the intraday highs. Support will lie at low of yesterday’s range which also correlates with the former recent descending resistance at $236.60, followed by the recent pivot point at $236.30, then the 50SMA at $235.70, the high of Friday’s range at $235.31 and finally the 20EMA at $235. Resistance will lie at the high of yestederday’s range at $237.41, followed by $237.61, $237.97, $238.10, $239.20, $239.44, $239.57, and record highs at $240.32.
