Morning Notes
US Futures are edging higher this morning while European stocks trade higher by over +0.50% led by a rebound in technology stocks with AAPL trading higher by +1% and NVDA trading higher by over +2% in the pre market. Markets are otherwise quiet as they await the results of the 2 day FOMC policy meeting which begins today. Asian stocks closed predominantly higher.
Technicals
The SPY remained in a constricted range on quiet trading throughout yesterday’s session. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $242.38, followed by $241.95, the 20 EMA at $241.69, $241.64, the near term support pivot at $240.65, then $239.93, $239.51, $238.82, and the 50 SMA at $238.60. Resistance will lie at yesterday’s highs at $243.42, followed by the record highs at $245.01 put in on Friday before the selloff.
