Morning Notes
US Futures and European shares are higher in early trading. Markets are up this morning following yesterday’s sharp decline with weak data in the Tech sector. Investors will be watching the Jobs report for a glimpse of strength in the economy along with Fed Chair Powell speaking. Asian markets settled the session mostly higher.
Technicals
The SPY was weak through yesterday’s session testing and failing to hold the $248 level. Support is first found at $248, $242, $240, followed by $235, $231.95, $228.56 pivot and ascending support at $219.5. Resistance first lies at $248, $250, followed by $253, the 20EMA at $253.48, $254.50 and $260. It continues with $263, $265, $268, $270, the 200SMA at $274.08 and $275.5 pivot.
